Swimming with sharks on your period?

I'm going swimming with leopard sharks today, but i just started my period! The leopard sharks are harmless but i'm worried if I would be attracting other sharks, even if we are swimming in the shallow (i know lots of attacks happen in shallow waters)

Do you think i would be fine if i just wear a tampon?

Yeah definately you will be fine. The myth that you can swim in like the ocean because it will attract sharks is false, so the same rules apply here.

Wow! Well I assume you will be with a professional who knows these things. You should ask the instructor to be sure. You dont want to risk it.

Just wear tampons, you will be perfectly fine.

There are no specific studies done to see if sharks will attack females on their periods wearing tampons more often then females not on their periods.

I wouldn't.I know people may think this is silly,but they can smell one drop of blood miles away.Even with a tampon,there's usually a bit of blood on the string.
