Swimming with tampons?

im going on holiday from the 24th -1st september and basically im going to spain so there will be nothing to do but swim, go beach etc .. ive heard tht you can use tampons when swimming but ive never used them before. does anyone know of a good brand that will definitely not leak?

Dont worry they dont leak.

The best to go for if you havent used them before is the ones with the applicator. They are easy to put in.

Go for tampax and go for the mini ones as these will be most comfortable for a first time used.

Tampax Pearl... but be sure to change it every 6-8 hours... you could get sick if you don't (Toxic Shock Syndrome)

i always use the athetic kind, the other ones seemed to leak. but be careful, like user super or regular depending on your flow so you make sure ya dont leak.

oh and ive never tried it but rather scared. and make sure your string is not hanging out of your bottoms..lol

I haven't had an issue with tampons leaking ever you just have to make sure you change them enough

I always recommend tampax pearl, i used to use playtex sport and thought they were great until i tried these. :)

there wonderful!!! they dont leak at all no matter how heavy the "flow" is ;)

If you've never used tampons before, I would suggest using something with a smooth plastic applicator.  Playtex sport is always a good choice for any athletic activity.  You can also use Tampax Pearl, this is a good smooth applicator, and its also on the small side, which would be great for first time use.

Generally, when a girl goes swimming, or is submerged in water, her period stops, or becomes significantly lighter during the time she is in the water.  So if all you were doing is swimming non stop, you wouldn't really even need to worry about a tampon.

A tampon is the used mainly for the times that you're not in the water, and may just be tanning, or laying out.  

However, just as a reminder, as soon as you're done swimming you'll need to change your tampon as it is most likely wet, and has bacteria from the water.  Also, always remember to read all of the directions on the box so that you're using the tampons correctly.

well if you are about to go your period or is on then i would suggest to go swimming with one probally tampax
