Switching over to Voip need help?

Hello everybody,

I am planning on switching my phone service to one the voip service. I make long distance calls within United States and also to India.

I looked on http://www.compareandcall.com/

It provded some good comparison and reviews of many providers and rate.

I am leaning towards lingo and Joiphone. Can someone let me know how the service is from Joiphone or Lingo

Any VOIP is dependent the quality of internet at your house or office. If you have jitter and the connection is slow you will drop calls and get low voice quality. I would get cable modem if you are thinking of going with VOIP. Remember if internet or power goes down you will have no phone service. Something to keep in mind
