Symantec antivirus

Question

Windows want's to reinstall program sym. ant. on every boot plus task. It happen when I was playing computer tech in the programs trying to put the icon back on the tool bar. I found the right one but i'm suffering from hitting the wrong icon in the programs file. How do I stop this? With out deleting the whole program. I don't have the orig. disk my computer person does. I guess to reinsure a come back call - mabye.
