On Balance;

Agate, snowflake obsidian, tourmaline and unakite are each stones that symbolize balance. The snowflake obsidian is black in white by nature, and the tourmaline and unakite are likewise dual-coloured which may have influenced their lore.

The Norse Rune Eihwaz symbolizes the natural balance between Predator and Prey.

The maple tree and the holly tree have been said to mean balance.

The Fall and Spring equinoxes are also days of balance, between dark and light.

Grey has been held as a symbol of balance (often between life and death or good and evil).

The cougar, dolphin, hare, swan, and cat can represent balance (between various aspects).

The sun and moon together are symbolic of balance.

In addition to yin yang (which is an excellent symbol of balance), the medicine wheel symbolizes balance.

Symbol you refer to is the Wu Chi not Yin Yang.  The Yin and the Yang make up the two parts and when they are in balance or harmony they are the Wu Chi or "Supreme Ultimate Force".
