Synthetic a priori?

Ten points to someone who gives me a clear explanation in 150 words or less of what Kant meant by that notorious 3-word expression. By the way, don't criticize Kant or expound to me on how wonderful/horrible his philosophy was/is. I don't care for just this moment.

Just explain in 150 words or fewer what that one phrase means. Thanks.

  1. in a the furthur devision of a priori from a posteriori hes concluded that some things are truths (analytic)1=1 and some are a compound of truths 1+1=2(synthetic).This new synthesis is not evident in the original initial stucture. oxygen + hydrogen(2) equals WATER. As for how this is found is in debate.
