System is Acer AMD athlon

Question

System is Acer AMD athlon 64x2 /dual core processor 5000 with 3GB ram 160GB on C drive and 1TB on D & E. I had a Netgear Wireless N pci adaptor and was getting 52MBps. All my other computer have Belkin Pre N along with the belkin pre n router and get 108Mbps. I installed a pre N Belkin F5D8000 desktop Network card and can not get it to see any signal. I un and reinstalled same with same result. Then thought perhaps should uninstall the Netgear program (which I did). Now same result. My next thought is to uninstall and reinstall belkin driver and client utility and give it a try. I don't feel very positive and perhaps is something in admin tools that i'm not aware of. Anyhow, I would appreciate any help that might be out there. Thanks in advance, Tom Fluharty
