T.V. is snowy......?

Question

My T.V. has a snowy picture on some channels. I know that channel 2 along with the other lower channels has a snowy picture but channel 36 is clear. Is there something I should do besides calling Cablevision.......

Cable has been known to have some weak channels when you don't use their box.  Still...

check in your menu settings with your remote control.  See what the cable type setting is (STD, HCR or ICR)  one might be better than another...
