well i have 4 cotton shirts and im planning on getting them from a size large to small-ish....ive tried to put it in hot water and dry it i dont think i did it right so im going to try once more

im planning on boiling water and soaking the clothes for a while and then put the clothes in the dryer on high for an hour

i have a few questions

1)should i leave the water boiling while i soak the clothes or should i turn the stove off while its soaking?

2)how long should i soak these clothes and how long should i dry it?

3) should i turn the shirts inside out?

4) should i wring the shirts after they are done soaking before putting them in the dryer or should i just take the soaked wet shirt and put them into the dryer?

5) any other tips or advice to help me get my shirts to get smaller?

also forgot to mention ..im shrinking the clothes by soaking them in hot water on the stove and then transfer them into the dryer..

  1. 1) i wouldn't it might over boil or they might get burned

2)I'd soak them for up to 12 mins, but no longer, set them for 10 mins at a time, when they are dry set them for 15 mins

    3)it doesn't matter

    5) sorry no

  2. hot dryer
