what kind of color are you looking for? if your looking for natural colors try Loreal Color Pulse, that's a pretty good temporary hair dye and washes out in a few weeks. If your looking for bold non natural colors (red, pink, blues etc.) then try Manic Panic cream color dye, it's temporary and washes out anywhere from one week to a month depending on the color and how often you wash your hair. Best of all it doesn't damage your hair and actually conditions it.

Check the local Dollar, Discount and Overstock stores I've found L'oreal® Color Pulse™ AND Herbal Essences® Color Flirt™ for as little as $1.00 each at stores like BIG LOTS™ And Dollar Discount Stores. Also, try the local Beauty Supplies like SALLY® for products like ROUX® Fanci-Full® Color Mousse and others.
