TRAVELING TO NY IN OCTOBER!

Question

I will be traveling to NY in October for my brothers wedding. I usually travel there in the summer. What is the weather like there like the second week of october. I will be traveling with children. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

usually a PERFECT fall day....

i live an hour away and go to nyc often, and my favorite time to go is the fall!!!

usually anywhere from 55-45ish, sometimes even hotter, it just depends on the weather that day!!

make sure u bring a jacket...the nights are cold and usually windy!!!!

Normally, it will be cool but not freezing. The temps may be in the upper 40s and 50s. Make sure that you bring a coat and plenty of layers (sweaters) because the nights can get cold.

My friend, the weather in NYC in the month of October, is cool. However, you may want to pack some warm clothes, because it can get cold sometimes in October, especially when this city gets the cold air from Canada. The temperature in NYC can drop to the low 30s and lower.
