TV channels

Question

I have an 20 year old Curtis Mathis console.  To change the channel, there is a panel on the right where you push the button to change.  The TV will not change channels, it stays on channel 2 when you push any of the button changers.  There is a good picture. Can you help or is it time to say good bye to the set!
