Question:

TV problem!?

I have three tvs spread around the house with each have a sepret aerial conecting to a booster box. One tv wont pick up a signal (they are freeview tvs) have cheacked the aerials, no luck, anyone help

  1. What you'll have to do is figure out if it's the TV , or the Antenna Wire going to it that's the problem.Do you have any way of moving another TV to where the one is that doesn't work ? If so, connect it up to that lead, and if the second set works, then it's the TV.It's probably got a bad Tuner.Do you have a DVD , VCR , or a Video Game that you can hook up to the TV ? There should be a switch for either Channel 3 or 4.If the TV won't work on that, then you've found the problem, a bad tuner.If that's the case, and the TV has separate Audio / Video Inputs, usually RCA Jacks, then maybe you could use a VCR in between the TV, and the Antenna , and just use it to change channels.That's how us poor folks do it, and it works just fine.Hope this helps !
