can someone answer a few questions i have about the tv show Lost, I just got done watching the first season and it was more confusing than i thought which is why i never watched it and i dont want to move on to the second season if they dont explain some things

so without giving away any of the details

1.) do they ever explain about the polar bears?

2.) do they explain why Jacks father coffin was empty

3.) what is so special about Walt and John Locke

4.) are "the others" real

5.) why did Ethan want to take the baby

6.) how come no one really noticed Ethan (this is more of a story hole)

7.) is john locke crazy

Wow, this is hard to do without giving up spoilers.

1. Yes.

2.  Sort of, though they've added more questions about that.

3.  Not completely, though they have expanded on both characters greatly.

4.  Yes.

5.  Yes.

6.   This is not addressed further if I am correct in my understanding that you want to know why no one noticed Ethan in the cave.

7.  Undetermined.

Even the questions that are answered tend to still be shrouded in some mystery.  The writers have promised to tie it all together eventually.  Even though the questions haven't been answered completely yet, I think it's still a fun ride.

you really need to watch every season.

some things, like the monster, haven't been answered yet.

but it's totally worth it. it's an amazing show.

and there is an overall arc to the story.

the writers have had a beginning, middle, and an end to the show right

from the start.

1.) do they ever explain about the polar bears?

yes....sorta. they explain why they're there, but there's more to the bears that will come about in later seasons.

2.) do they explain why Jacks father coffin was empty

they haven't really explained that too much.

they will in seasons 5 & 6.

3.) what is so special about Walt and John Locke?

they hint at it a lot, especially with Locke, but we won't know the whole truth until seasons 5 & 6.

4.) are "the others" real?

"the others" is just a name the losties gave to these people that also live on the island. yes, they're real. but for their whole story, you'd have to watch. they don't really get into the others' lives and history until season 3.

5.) why did Ethan want to take the baby?

that's all explained in great detail in season 3.

6.) how come no one really noticed Ethan?

they did. but everyone thought he was on the plane as well.

7.) is john locke crazy?

nope. he's perfectly sane.

but he has a STRONG connection with the island.

he's probably the most important character of the entire show.

2.)Jacks Father some how Came To life ...or as to be seen he came to be... In ithc other people can see him and he can also fill in for Jacob

4.)Yeah There Not Nessesarlly Other now there really just people that ben hired after killing all the Dharma Initive.

5.) He knew it would Die

6.)He tied to Stay Low Profile Just as Ben Told him to when the Plain Crashed
