Question:

Taking Blood Off of a Cushion? ?

I'm on my period and took a nap in a chair and woke up and found I had bled out on the really expensive chair. I really need to know how to get rid of the stain, and I can't remove the cushion's cover. Thanks SO much!

  1. hot water and borax mixed (with the detergents) and blot it and then blot with clear water then for quicker drying blot with dry towel works every time

  2. Peroxide, blot till the blood comes out.rinse with cold water

  3. Easy--hydrogen peroxide--LOTS of it.  This is what vets use to get blood and other biological stains out of their lab coats.  You just pour at least 1/2 cup of HP on the stain--soak it if you need to.  It won't take the color out of the fabric like bleach does.  It really works.  It's really good for the occasional "racing stripes" blood spots you get in your panties and won't hurt the elastic the way bleach does.  It's just very fabric friendly and it's SOOO cheap--about $1 a bottle.

Like anything, it works best when the stain is fresh/wet.

    Good luck!
