Taking Poll On Title Of Book ?

Question

I will be publishing my first book very soon and am conflicted over which title to go with.

SINGLE LATINA FEMALE: Tale of A Toxic Friend or;

LATINA FEMALE: Single Crazy Life

This book is based on the true accounts of my friendship with someone that I was very close with. She started harrassing me and put me through all kinds of changes once she found out that her ex (my ex's brother) and I were back in touch with each (platonicly). Him and I figured out that she had tried to keep us apart knowing that him and I had been good friends that lost contact through the years. It was a stressful and scary time in my life. My friends, family and myself still can't believe the lengths she went through to make my life miserable because of her jeolousy of her ex and my friendship. Fortunately, I went to court and that put an end to everything. This whole experience inspired me to write a book about this and it's also a way for me to tell others to take heed of the warning signs that I overlooked when her and I were friends.

Thanks for taking the time to read and let me know which title sounds better to you. By the way, her and I are both Latina which is why I mention our culture in the title like the popular movies, "Single White Female", "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" so it's not meant to cause any offense.

I like Single Latina Female: Tale of a toxic friend it has a nice flow and ring to it than the other one.

Latina Female: Single crazy life sounds like an uncomplete title like something is missing from it. The Tale of a toxic friend draws you in because pretty much all of us have had one of those and you could get more types of readers who have had that kind of friendship. The single crazy life doesn't tell you that the book is going to be about a toxic friendship. Nice idea though.

the first one. I would definitly rather buy a book if it was called the first title!

The first title sounds way more alluring and intriguing. The second one sounds like a book about some crazy drunk chick on a regular weekend.

I would go with the first.

The first makes me think the book is going to be full of shocking actions and turmoil. The first makes me feel like it is just going to be a biography about the life of a young and crazy latina girl. No sense of what you are intending to convey in your book.

definately the first answer. its alluring and sounds intriguing. the second one sounds more of a flashy type thing and doesnt sound like it really goes with your book. i would choose the first one.
