Pretty much but there are diff jump shots also so their not all the same

like the video for distance -more angle for shorter shots lots for a slight draw of stop shot off a jump just practice what works for you.

Just start at 30 degrees and up to 50 or 60 -one of mine is bout 65 but i would callit a hop instead of a jump almost straight up and over a ball for a close to ball shot I have got out from 3/4 in from ball -Caution- no control what so ever

Dart stroke for shorter jumps, higher jumps, and one-handed jumps.  I tend to get unintentional spin using the dart method.

Pendulum stroke for longer jumps, control, and position.  I'll use this most often in an 8/9 ball game.  It better be one helluva safety if I'm going to pull out a dart stroke jump.

For short hops but close to rail I favor the cue on top. Longer jumps I go with hand on top. Almost always go around with foot in mouth.  lol
