Tamagotchi v4.5 question.?

I've been helping my step-daughter take care of her Tamagotchi 4.5, because she's young and really doesn't know how to use it. So far, the d**n thing is 4yrs old, never got an invitation to school, and hasn't been offered a job yet. As of today, it refuses to go to preschool. How old does it have to be to go to regular school, and to get a job offer?
