Tampa bay rays?

woh almost typed devil rays, hah anyways, this talk about manny and pudge is getting boring so im bringing up the rays, last year them being one of the worst teams in the AL and this year they are the front runners to win the AL east above two of the best teams, Boston and New York. where did it come from? i mean i expected them to be good in future years but not this soon.

I didn't think you were being hateful dude. Anyway, it's just one of those seasons I guess where everything is clicking for them. Who knows what they'll do the rest of the season  or next season but that's the wonderful thing about sports. It's the same thing with the Tigers. They're dripping with talent but haven't been able to get it done on the field. You can attribute it to anything but the fact is the Rays are winning games and doing work.

The Rays really, really want it.  They are full of young talent, and they are full of guys who have something to prove. I'm a Red Sox Fan, but this team really gets me excited.

I love Carlos Pena, who once hit a walk off homer for the Red Sox in front of his family and friends.  This is what makes baseball fun and exciting!

I agree, I thought next year was their breakout year. Some players mature faster though, and the Rays have had a lot of young players break out this year. Your question wasn't rude at all.

Nonetheless, I am not too surprised. The Tampa Bay Rays are an extremely talented team and its young talent too. I mean you have amazing and relatively young offense with Carlos Pena, Carl Crawford, BJ Upton, and Evan Langoria. I mean all of these players in my opinion are All Star-caliber (despite what Red Sox and Yankees fans may say).

Their pitching is excellent as well. I mean Shields and Kazmir is an excellent combo a situation where you literally have two aces.
