So I just got done swimming. Do you have to take your tampon out after you're done swimming? I've only had mine in for an hour and it's regular flow.

  1. Only you know when you need to change it, because every woman's body is different - but if you need to change after an hour, consider using a higher absorbency.

  2. I dont think its a big deal if you've only had it in for an hour, but I usually take it out after I swim if it's been a while..like 2 hours in the water.

  3. You might want to just so it will be a clean one.  Depending on where you went swimming it could have been dirty water.  I'm sure it wouldn't hurt you to just leave it in.  Its up to you though.

  4. A tampon can be left in for up to 3-4 hours depending on your flow.Since you got done swimming,i would take it out just to be safe and put a fresh one in.

  5. no!

    you cant wait.

you can have it up to 8 hours!

  6. ur fine.

ur aloud to have a tampon in for 6 to 8 hours. i usually chage mine after swimming just because ur more likely to leak or at least i usually do.

  7. you can have it in for 3 hours but you should probably take it out to aviod toxic shock syndrome--you can never be to careful

  8. you don't have to take the tampon out but women do because it is more comfortable and they feel cleaner and fresher
