Question

For school we are looking into places that could give us fundraising oppurtunities and I was curious to know if Target offered anything such as bagging items etc.. and if not what are some good fundraising activities?

no, target doesn't give out fundrasing oppotunities. but a ton of restraunts are glad to have a school nite. this is where all the money the restaunt makes that nite (like in a set time limit....usually from 5 or 6pm til closing) the money goes to the program or group or what ever. this is a quick and easy way of making at least 1000 bucks. some places that help my clubs out are: chick fil a, rubios, mi tortilla bj;s and red robbin. just try asking around your area and you'd be surprised who's willing to help out

I use to work at Target.

If you tell Target that you are looking for fund raising opportunities, they will gladly help.

Have a car wash, bake sale, make crafts and sell them, etc.

Target has a Redcard program.  It is one of their fundraiser options...they also have grants for schools to use for field trips.

Enrolling is easy when you have a REDcard. Just choose an eligible K-12 school.

Donations total 1% of your purchases at Target and Target.com and 1/2% of Target Visa Credit Card purchases made everywhere Visa credit cards are accepted.

Unrestricted funds can be used for playgrounds, books and more.

Over the past year, more than 2.5 million Target cardholders have participated nationwide.

Checks are sent twice a year in March and September to the school principal.
