Tax Rebate Check?

I wanted to know since mine is being mailed to me on or around July 11th how long after that will I recieve it in the mail? I am hoping within a few days so I can do things like day trips and such on July 22 thru the 28. Does anyone know if that would be possible?

If it's mailed 7/11 you should have it the next week sometime.

Note that it will take the Postal Service a few days to deliver it after it is mailed, so if it is mailed according to the IRS schedule on 7/11, you may not get it until early in the week of 7/14.

Some rebate checks in a given SSN range go out earlier in the week, but there does not appear to be any recognizable pattern to predict which checks get mailed out earlier in the week.
