you can go on songmeanings.net and find out what the meaning is, but i'm almost positive i'd lie is about a girl who just got broken up with and is moving on. teardrops on my guitar is about a girl who is in love with her best guy friend, who only sees her as a friend.

I don't know what that song is about.  But I absolutely cannot stand any of her songs.  Yes, I understand that she is only 17 years old.  The problem I have with her is that all of her songs SOUND as though she is only 17 years old!  

In my humble opinion, Taylor Swift is completely overrated...not even worthy of American Idol!  And AI is BAD!!!!!
