Teamspeak Won't Work with Vista

Question

I play Electronic Arts' Battlefield 2142, and use Teamspeak Overlay Beta 2 (freeware). It won't show up on-screen during the game on my Vista Ultimate 64-bit operating system. I have tried running it in compatibility mode for XP, and still: nothing. I've found nothing on the internet, although there are several who say that they have a 64-bit version of Vista running, and in BF2142 Teamspeak shows up just fine. I've tried everything. Anybody out there a 2142 player who has a solution for this? Our clan is Teamspeak only, and I have to be able to talk to my buddies when I play. =)
