  1. Jerusalem, since it is the capital of Palestine.

Tel-Aviv is too scary for me, who knows when a frustrated Palestinian will explode there and take me along.

  2. Al Kudos (Jerusalem) the Capital of Palestine

Tell Aviv is vicious colony build on the Awesome Arabic Palestinian City of Yafa...

Some day we will return and our cities will return too

  3. It depends on your mood...

I adore Jerusalem, because everywhere (literally) you go, is a history lesson.  It's amazing, and the belief from all religions there is breathtaking.  I think the locals are warm, and you can still find fun bars and good restaurants.

Tel Aviv is like a different country!  Hip, modern, very European...

If you're trying to decide where to spend your time, split it in half.  Both are awesome.

  4. JD said it best...  lol...

Each city is lovely, and each is wonderful and unique in its own way.

Personally, I love them both, but I have a soft spot for Jerusalem, as I am Orthodox:)

  5. Jerusalem. First thing, this is where I live and work (but I'm moving soon). This city is so full with history charecter. There is such an intersting blend of people and cultures. This is the Holy City with the holiest place to the Jewish people, the Temple Mount is in Jerusalm. Although it is not only a holy city, its full of culture and fun too.

To me, Tel Aviv is like any other city in the world, there is nothing unique about it. When I go there I feel like I'm not even in Israel. I haven't been there in quite some time (at least a year or two).

There is just nothing like walking through Mahne Yehuda Market on a friday, through Jaffa Road on Jerusalem Day or at the Wailing Wall on Sukkot, Passover, or Shavuot.

  6. Tel Aviv ..........my mother & father are both from there.

  7. when you want to talk to God, Jerusalem.

When you want to talk to a girl, Telly.

Talk to God long enough you may not want to meet up wth some atheist girl looking for a fun time.

  8. Most zionists are atheists and their presence in Jerusalem is undesirable; they are better off in Tel Aviv; plenty of bars, nightclubs, etc. Jerusalem is holy to Christians and Muslims.

  9. J-town is better for tourist stuff, tel aviv better for the nightlife, beaches, etc.. but both are awesome.  No need to choose really since they are about 45 mns apart.

  10. Tel Aviv is originally Yafa and still prefer Jerusalem since it is the capital of the state of Palestine

  11. Jerusalem...

There is something special about this antique city!

  12. jerusalem is for religious and spiritual reasons

tel aviv is to make money, to go to the beach and to have a good time
