Telekinesis? should i try?

ok i want to try telekinesis. I know it takes years , but the truth is i'm a little afraid, i mean , what if i can really move objects? so should i try it?

no, there is no person in history up until today whos done that. that'll suck if u wasted years trying to do something impossible and feeling frustrated. i hate feeling frustrated :S

Try to learn. Let's see if you can. And if you do; I think you would end up enjoying that gift instead of fearing it. If you can move objects, you would be the first person ever. Nobody knows how long it takes or how to learn it, because nobody has been able to yet.

If you did succeed, you could be world famous and rich. On the other hand, unless you live in the Marvel Universe, you are most likely wasteing your time.

You should really try it! I love telekinesis and telepathy both and my personal opinion is go for it! yea but theres one thing you should be care full of is that you shouldn't misuse telekinesis. Yea and the beat would be listen to your heart..what does your heart say? if your heart feels secure. then you should go for it! it would br really a great achievement for you. I say you go for it! give it a try!

yes!!! go for it i've tried hydrokiensis (movement of water) and i can move water now and ive only been doing it for a year ...not even! very worth but can be scary in a way.

but i do reccommend(sp?) trying a psi wheel first. i do that now and it helps alot, it helps you control your energy to strengthen your power.

definnetly worth it .  ...i'm now a hydrokinetic!

I have learned it for a bit. It does not take weeks to produce a telekinetic effect. It depends on how far you want to go as far as development to get a time frame. If you expect to slide things like bottles or so on a flat surfaces, I'd say a minimal of 5 months or so if you train everyday.

Telekinesis (TK) is now called Psychokinesis (PK) in the scientific research literature. I would suggest you start there to get a basic understanding behind how it is tested for, theories behind how it may work, and perhaps that will give you some ideas of how to work toward developing it.

There is no scientific evidence to suggest that it takes years as that most people participating in the scientific experiments did not do any sort of formal training before the experiment,

No system or method of training has ever been scientifically tested.

The most positive supporting evidence from scientific experiments shows that people can effect thrown dice, random number generators, and decaying radioactive particles at above chance (barely but consistently for more than 27 years) and it requires statistical analysis to even see the effects.

So I doubt that you will be too upset about levitating one of your friends as that is not likely to happen.

Rather than offering you opinions (it has never been done, you will be the first, etc.) I suggest you read the actual scientific research literature and inform yourself.
