Television response.

Question

Hi guys, my problem is that my t.v. responds occasionally to the remote. Most times not than usually. It's not the remote as i've tested it on my other t.v. and it works fine. can you help?

The tv doesn't respond to the remote. Neither the Toshiba remote or the cable remote control the tv. All the batteries are good. It just happened all of a sudden. The buttons on the tv work fine. The tv is 5 years old and still works great. I don't want to spend alot of money to fix it. Hpoe you can help.Thank You
