  1. There are several hop on - hop off tours available.  You could take one of those and then go back later if you spot anything you'd like to investigate further.

  2. A lot depends on what you are hoping to achieve. Dublin is a typical , European City now, but also has a lot of character. Night life is centered around the pub culture and a city center area , given over to this activity is called Temple Bar. Night Clubs are a plenty around the Baggot Street Area.

Historic Dublin, Dublin Castle, Trinity College, The General Post Office, and lots more, all in and around the city center. Russell Court Hotel, is also central, and like most city center hotels, you get what you pay for. Try and get out to Howth on the North side of Dublin Bay, or Bray , Killiney on the South Side, nice views of the whole of Dublin from both sides.

  3. the russel court is in a really central spot....well done!

hmm about the noise thing, i know it hosts a good few [private functions like 18th's 21sts etc downstairs but im sure it will be fine, its a popular hotel so it must not be that bad! and its only downstairs that the parties are. the road isnt noisy or anything.

    things to do in dub....

    1. shopping. you will be very near graften street, the centre of town. have a look around the shops there. but ....my favourite is dundrum town centre, a 15 minute tram ride (and you are very near the tram i e the luas......do it do it.

toursity things.....get one of those hop on hop off buses, they go from the bottom of grafton street. they will drop u off at ALL the good touristy places. i recommend

    guinness brewery

kilmainham jail (for a bit of irish history if u wish!

    st patricks cathedral (its pretty)

trinity college (its free) and book of kells

take a stroll through stephens green at top of grafton street.

And if u have any interest....blood brothers the amazing musical willl be in town.

restaurants...little caesars there are 2. one is on ur street. lovely. nightclubs, well a couple on ur street, but also go to temple bar for def, the centre of culture kind of thing.

    sorry this is soooo long!

    have fun!!!!!
