Telling if my Lovebird is happy?

Question

Okay,I thought if Lovebirds strech one wing out and stand on one leg that meant they felt safe ei. happy. Also, if they chirp alot, and wag their tails feathers.

My Lovebird does all of these things...does it mean she is happy. What are the first signs of illness in a Lovebird. The only thing that conserns me slightly is her p**p is green and sometimes runny...but it has always been like that since we have had her.

If a bird is ill it will sit fluffed up on the bottum of the cage, and if you keep watching her p**p you worry yourself to death. As long as your bird is eating and drinking and seem playful I'd say keep on doing what you are doing.

p**p for birds is reflective of what they eat.. Green with the liquid is normal for primarily seed eating birds..

Happy is another thing!! If the bird has allot of toys, chirps, plays with you and his toys he / she is probably fine.. Watch for a change in behavior as opposed to worrying about the baby.. If the birds behavior suddenly changes then is the time to worry
