If any of u reading this have ever had any experience with a tennis ball machine plz reply. I am looking for a machine that's not too expensive, and i mean less than 1000. I am looking for a machine that can hit both backhand and forhand, i think thats called oscilating or som, ething. I also want one that can hit high for lobs. It is important that it can do topspin, but i dont rlly care if it has flat or slice. im not sure whether alot of machines have a random shot feature, but if u know about that lpz write. Also i am looking for a good quality one that will last a long time. I plan to use it almost everyday for 2-3 hrs. If u know any info about the battery life, remote, portability, effect it has on balls, or durability and quality, then plz write about that too. I also need one that has wheels cuz i live near courts to i will need to haul it there on foot. Also if any1 knows of any brands of tennis ball machines that have a good rep, plz write about that too. Any info on this wud be greatly appreciated as I know hardly anything about these machines. Thank u very much for responding.

  1. i bought the Isam portable machine, about 500 dollars, and i wish i would have went for the more expensive models.

It doesn't hit the ball fast enough, or with any spin.

the Isam coach is expensive but worth the price

  2. I would try and stay away from battery operated.  The battery are usually only good for 2-3 hours max.

I highly recommend the PlayMate machines.  Lower cost, able to hit spin and oscillate.  Very good warranty and they send parts quickly.

I think you would be disappointed overall with a protable machine.....go with the plug in models!
