I love tennis, and I love playing it on my wii, cuz I'm tons better at it on that. But at the near end of the game, it sometimes calls it a break point, sometimes a game point, and sometime a match point. Can someone tell me the difference between these?

  1. In tennis not all points are equal. Break and game and match points are so called because it indicates what will happen if someone wins that point

if the server is 30-40 then that is called break point because if loses the next point his serve will be broken.

game or set point means the game or set can be won on the next point.

  2. Game point means that you or your opponent will win the game on the next point.

Break point means that the person who's serving will lose the game if he/she doesn't win the next point.

Match point means that you or your opponent will win the match on the next point.
