  1. There are only 3 ways to find this information:

    1. When you check in for an international or domestic flight, you will not be allowed to board.  The Airlines will usually tell you to contact the FBI.

    2. If you know someone that works for a government agency that has clearance to view the last, you can ask them.  This is probably illegal.

    3. You can apply for a job with the FBI, CIA, NSA, DIA, etc., apply for a security clearance.  If you are hired and are able to get the clearance, it is likely you are not on the list.

So, as you can tell, there is not a very easy way to find out if you are on the list.  The easiest way is to simply try to go on a flight.  If you are allowed to board the plane, you are not on the list.  This is not as scary as it sounds.  You'll simply not be allowed to board if you're on the list.  You will not be arrested.  You may be held for questioning at the discretion of the FBI.

  2. http://www.fbi.gov/terrorinfo/counterror...

for a good laugh (or a good cry) read all the FAQ's...

  3. You can't.  There are over a million names on that list, and there is no way of finding out if you're on it, nor is there any way of getting your name taken off.  The list includes people who are dead, foreign heads of state, and until recently included Nelson Mandela.  It is useless in preventing terrorism - it serves no function except to frustrate and harass people who are on it, who have been neither charged nor convicted of any crime.

  4. You're on it now, just for asking.

  5. If there were such a database, and you are a known terrorist or you associate with known terrorists, your first indication might be the day you are denied air travel at the terminal and are questioned by authorities. Even if you are not a terrorist, your personal information may be included in government data stores, which can be mined for a number of national security purposes. One program that uses individual data is called Total Information Awareness,(or Terrorist Information Awareness). Some think such programs are unconstitutional, or otherwise illegal in the US.

  6. Doubt that any of us could get that info.... but I think the terrorist watch list is just to have dirt on ppl that question the government so later if they're in a position of power say running for president they can say "oh well this guys a suspected terrorist" and there goes that guys chances :(. Like what viacom's doing to youtube'rs Its all about control.

  7. uh...no,  as it is right now you can't....terrorists are pretty much protected under the law...actually there are no terrorists...we made it all up...as long as they have made a name for themselves ,they can't be terrorists!....come on..get with the program! It's just like the McCarthy thing..there were no communists...well...we know NOW there were, but, because we denied it then, that overrides knowledge we now have.....simple enough huh? Your attempt at thinking like a lib is terribly wanting! You're searching for things that aren't really there........well...they are....but ,we won't know it till it's too late..now, do you understand?
