Test Points

I have an almost dead P50HDM, when off the panel light is yellow when turned on a green light no sound or screen activity. I am an old retired PC, TV Tech and Plasma in new to me but noticed all the test points thru out the system but can't find any specs on the Internet to determine failed board or boards. Can anyone give me some insight to my request?
