Testosterone from the adrenal glands?

Is the testosterone from the adrenal glands important in sexual development during puberty? Would a very small amount of testosterone lost due to topical corticosteroids affect you sexual development at all?

No, not really.

Testosterone is mainly producred by the testes in men and the ovaries in women.

Corticosteroid use may reduce testosterone levels but topical corticosteroid use has little, if any effect.

Yes, since it helps in puberty height growth and for facial hair to appear and the deepening of the voice ^_^

Testosterone is produced in small amounts in the adrenal, but primarily in the testes.  You may know of the Castrati- boys castrated before puberty so they can keep their high voices.  

Topical corticosteroids should not suppress testosterone at all.  Large amounts might suppress your own cortisol production, but it would take a lot, and for a long time. Not an endocrinologist, but I don't think those systems have changed a lot since I studied them.  Hope this helps.
