Hi, I currently live in san antonio and want to move some where in the same state 'Texas' just a diff city?

I been here 2 years and never seen a tornado and was wondering if you knew of any other city in texas with no tornados? And if so how long have you lived in that city, so I can determine if I should go or not.

  1. schertz is the place to be!! i was born here and lived here my whole life (almost 20 years).  we were recently voted # 1 best city to live in in texas, and # 40 out of the entire nation.  low taxes, low crime rate, pretty good schools, roads and houses.  not only that, but its within easy driving distance of downtown SA, so you can still hit all your fav restaurantss and stores!  plus, i dont think schertz has EVER been hit by a tornado.  some places were subject to mild flooding, but they just did a lot of changes to stop all that so we really shouldnt have any problems form here on out.

  2. i love dallas, its so just full of everything. ive never heard of tornadoes there? or really, anywhere (majorly-i could be wrong) in texas, sooo.

if your looking for a big city dallas is nice

in the end though, I LOVE SAN ANTONIO!

  3. There can be tornados anywhere, anytime of year. The best thing is to learn how to protect yourself if there is one. There have been more north of Texas this year than usual. They even have them in Canada, but not as often.

  4. Why would you want to leave San Antonio? I live in Lubbock and we have only had few in the outskirts of the city. But like it or not, they will come around, just not often in some cities. Maybe you would like Dallas or Austin.
