Text messaging on an Env2?

I have an Env2. This is my second Env2 in a month. My first one wouldn't charge so I traded it in for a new one. On my old env I would open my phone and then just start typing a txt message but now on my new env I would open the phone and then start typing and nothing happens. How do I change the settings so that when I start typing I will be typing a txt message?

There is no way to make the phone type on its own.  You will have to actually type out the message yourself.
