Question:

Textbooks and Hospitals in Texas?

This may sound silly, but I was a bit puzzled when I heard it. I am about to be spending time in the hospital, and I am also a college student. My CJ teacher told me that she thought it was illegal to take textbooks into a hospital. I had never heard of such a thing and cannot figure out why this would be illegal, but I want to be sure before I go in. Anyway if anyone has the answer to this ( or how to find the answer), I would much appreciate the help. Yes we are in Texas, but I am not sure if this applies to any other states as well. Thank you!

  1. WHAT

You can TAKE ANY book you want into a hospital

What a dumb thing to say.

  2. Your CJ teacher is full of c**p. There is no such law in Texas.

  3. No, no, no. She meant there were no books allowed in the White House.

  4. Call the hospital you'll be staying in if you are HONESTLY worried about this.  Hospitals know that people have to do homework while bedridden, and they do not block education in hospitals.

It sounds positively asinine to me.  I'm in Texas too, never heard of it.  Someone is pulling your leg.
