Texting problems, pissing me off!?

Question

when i text my bf during the day i will get his text message right away but for like the past week after like 9 i cant get any of his messages and he cant get mine and in the morning ill get the texts

i have verizon and he has at&t my phones new and his phone is almost 2 years old but he still has his plan til like feb of '09 wat could be some reasons cuz of this?

i think i may have the answer to your question. I have been seeing a lot of commercials on tv for this.

The answer? Parental Controls. I'm not sure how old you guys are or who pays for each of your cell phone bills, but it maybe due to the fact that the person who controls the account has put a block on the time of day you can use the phone. Both att and verizon support this feature. All the owner of the phones have to do is say what it is that they want to limit and pay 4.99/mo per line. This only has to be controlled by one end or the other, and does not have to be added to both of the lines.

If you both pay for your own cell phone bills, then you may have him try taking his sim card and battery out for 5 mins and putting it back together. then power it back on (basically a soft reset to allow it re-register on the network). I'm not sure how that works on verizon or if you have sim cards with verizon, so you may want to call them if you do not know how to do a soft reset on your device.

it could be because of the network, since a lot of people use their cell phones at 9pm- 6am (coz it's free), so it's probably busy that's why it takes long for ur msgs to be recieved.
