That last Red Wings Goal?

Did the shot remind you of the one by Bobby Orr scored in 1970 to win the cup against the Blues? or is it just me?

He was just a few inches off the ice nothing special..it was still a pretty nice goal, but I've seen plenty better.  That 1970 OT winner by Bobby Orr is sooo over-rated...it was an OT winner in a Bruins 4 game sweep over the Blues...better photograph than goal scored all the way.

It was actually a better goal than Orr's - just not as important.

Kind of crossed my mind in that he went a little air born. Was not as climatic though......makes it 3-0 in Game 2.

Part of (most of) the drama of Bobby Orr's "The Goal" was for the Cup and as he was flying through the air, he raised his arms in victory.............so really, not much comparison.......plus Orr was several feet off of the ice, soaring like Superman. As I said though........."somewhat" reminiscent.
