Do you think that if one child is 16 the other is 13 and the other is 10 it would be too big of an age gap if the parents had another baby?

  1. no way!

I have a friend who is 17 (the oldest of 4), and she has sisters who are 14, 12, and 3. She helps out with Jayne (the littlest), and her little sister looks up to her.

Also, I have another friend who is 17, and all four of her siblings are 23 and older. They get along just fine.

I guess it's just up to the parents to decide if that's what they want..

  2. I think its ok.. my brother is 43 i'm 21

  3. I do not think so.  My mother in law's oldest son is 31 and her youngest is 8.  It is better because it is as if they have more than two parents, but they are the brothers and sisters.  It is more helpful and the relationships are better, I can say from experience.  My sister 11 years younger than me and my brother is 14 years younger than me.  I know a lot people like that and they have great relationships with their younger siblings.

  4. I don't think there are any rules on this.  Plenty of people have a really hard time conceiving and there children are spaced 10yrs apart and they all get along great.

It's all about the love in the family.
