The Apocalypse?

Just wondering what other peoples thoughts were on the "supposed" apocalypse on December 21, 2012. I know the facts on what's supposed to happen I am just wondering what the common thought on it is?? If you don not know whats supposed to happen heres some info -

To be honest with you i don't know- no one does.

but the chances are leaning towards yes... especially with all the spiritual/religious to scientifical claims.

the chances of it being the end of the world

fall under anyones catagory of personal beliefs

Yeah, like all these "seers" and "prophets" have been pegging the Apocalypse at various dates, and we've all gone past through these dates... and has the world ended? Nope. Not yet. Still livin', still breathin'.

Maybe the world will end in 2012. Or maybe it won't. But who cares? What are you gonna do about it, anyway? Nada. You can't do anything about it unless you're Galactus or somethin'.

Just live to the fullest. So that when the world ends, there are no regrets.

ITs a catastrophe to come, but i hope it doest happen cuz its scary so far everything the mayas predicted happened, i hope they were wrong this time though

I don't buy into any of that nonsense at all, this sort of thing has been going on for centuries most recently back in the 1990s when people claimed the Apocalypse was coming in 2000.  I wonder what the relevance to 2012 is anyway considering the calender we follow now is based on the birth of Jesus.  The trouble is that Jesus wasn't born 2008 years ago he was actually born about 2014 years ago.  Considering this calender predates Jesus by 3,000 years maybe 2012 has already passed.
