The Sims 2 For PC Help?

Does this Sims 2 Game go online. So you can meet other people playing the sims 2 and you can get married like that or something? Can you share you houses? Does it cost money? What is the website please reply.

Also at mod the sims 2.com can you get free stuff for your sims 2 Games? Does that cost money also?

1) Sims 2 does NOT go online. There use to be a game called "The Sims Online" it was renamed EA Land. But it went down (or no longer works after August 1st this year). There is also The Sims Carnival that you should be able to play online. Same with My Sims. It's for the wii but there is one called I think "My Sims" you can play online on the pc. If I remember correctly. I think there is a site on their main page: http:///www.thesims2.com that you can play online from but I could be wrong as well on that.

2) Those game cost to buy them but not to play online as far as I know. I don't play online so I wouldn't know. Look up the games themselves and find out. I'm sure they all have links for them on the net somewhere.

3)You can already trade your house at the exchange on Sims2 main game site, but again not sure about online play so you'll have to do some more research.

4) Modthesims2.com is a place where yes you can download items, people, meshes, clothing, etc for free. You just need to register but the registration is free.

I believe that there are private servers for the PC version of Sims2. I will have to research that for you. But as for the mods, they are free.

Oh and i confirmed a Sims 2 Online Mod that is on a private server. Seems I was correct
