The Yamaha YZ250 or YZ250F?

Question

Why should i get one instead of the other? price, perormance, cons, pros,etc. These two bike are preventing me from buying becuase i dont know which one i like better. What can you do on one instad of the other? tricks, tracks, etc. Can you still wheelie and stoppie on the 4 stroke? Please answer all questions. Thanks.

dude the yz250 will kick the but out of a yz250f  in third gear go for the 2 stroke its eaisier to maintai,lighter,faster,and awesome powerband and if a 4 stroke needs maintenance your talking about big bucks

definetly yz250. two strokes can kick four strokes ***. i race a 85 2 stroke and pass all the slow 4 strokes going popopopopopopo. and igo like zezezezezezezezezeze !!! four strokes suck balls. the twostrock is better for extreme off roading. have you seen a four stoke win erzberg,endurocross,lastmanstanding,etc.... they r better for fmx ,nate adams, travis pastrana , adam jones ,all 2 stroke!they are also better for hillclimbs .the ONLY thing they maybe arent better is in supercross but who cares about supercross.its just a little race with fake jumps indoors. who wants to ride indoors. get a 2 stroke, ENOUGH SAID!!!!

-slower

-34 hp

-raced in 125 class

-high maintenance

-lighter

YZ250:

-faster

-46 hp

-punchy powerband

-more money

-more gas

(2 strokes have more power)

you can do any trick on them if your good enough and any track you really want as long as you have experience.

you can still do wheelies and stoppies on 4 strokes

performance:

yz250=more power being 2 stroke, lighter, more maintanece,better to perform freestyle on as they are lighter

yz250f=should be about the same , less maintanece less power and yes you can do wheelies and stoppies on both bikes very easily

if you want the power of a 250 2 stroke you would need a 450 4 stroke

You can do anything on a 4 stroke that you can do on a 2 stroke except maybe FMX. But there is one big thing you cannot do on a 2 stroke, and that is win a race.
