The blu-ray tecnology is good ?

I living in Brazil and hir don´t have this tecnology. Is good ?

It is the best on the market,delivering the clearest picture,but it is also very expensive.

A recent news report that came out today stated that Target and a few other retail stores are dropping there HD-DVD lines and going in favor of the Blue Ray.  The remark was that HDDVD has been Betalized, in other words in short time HD-DVD will probably die out as Blue Ray is now getting the backing of the consumer market.  Back in the 80's the same thing happened between Beta max and VHS and VHS won.  This is good for Sony and PlayStation 3.
