The colour of the eye !!??

Do the colour of your eyes get brighter as you get older. I have really dark brown eyes and was wondering will they get lighter. My dad had heavy brown eyes when he was younger and now they seem to be a little lighter. Same with other colour eyes, am just using brown for example. danke :D

Everyone tends to lose pigment as they age, so it seems possible that brown eyes would gradully get lighter, and maybe green eyes would get bluer.
