  1. Either air it out for several days or fill bottom with vinegar and let sit maybe.

  2. I take mine outside once every other week.....wash it out with a garden-hose.....I use dawn dish soap and bleach to clean it.  I let it sit in the trash can for about 10 mins or so....I have a chrome one too and its fine.....rinse it out good and dry it out by hand....then spray with a disinfectant  It should do the trick!!!

  3. Does it come apart? Maybe something got spilled between the chrome and the inside liner. You might put baking soda in the bottom of it to absorb the odor.

  4. put a box of baking soda in their and maybe pour some in there and close the lid that always help  good luck

  5. clean it with hot water and pine-sol then use scented garbage bags they work really well!

  6. Make a thin paste out of baking soda and water. Wipe it on all the inside surfaces and let it sit until it dries--and beyond. Days later, rinse and wipe dry.

This pulls odors out of some pretty stubborn materials, like plastics.

  7. Baking soda, Dawn soap it, let it air dry or with paper towels.

How about spraying febreze or vinegar water. Try it out, hun.

  8. Buy a product called phenyl - it is used here in australia to clean MGB or wheelie bins. It is very potent so wear gloves and do it in an open space.

  9. throw a couple of dryer sheets in the bottom of it.

  10. try hot soapy water and **** and span and let it soak overnight. Then after  you have poured that out wipe it out good with a paper towel and let it dry completely. Make sure you clean the outside of it as well and in the crevices, tiny though they may be. You can use an old toothbrush if you really want to get in the crevices. When you are done throw a dryer sheet in there and it should be a lot better. Good luck
