road? in venice there are "calle" or (ca'). In the city there are not car because there are not road. U can move only with your feet or in bicicle.

The main road into Venice (from land) is a bridge and it's called "Ponte della Libertà" (or the bridge of liberty) and it was built by the Fascists.

There actually are no roads in Venice because there are no cars. The city is traveled either by boat or by foot.... the city is full of canals and the main one is the Grand Canal or "Canal Grande".
