The mauled parakeet?

well i told you tat my parakeet got mauled by the cat and i took her to the vet yesterday and they gave her a shot of anti inflamatory and antibiotics and today she doesnt seem to be doing to well she doesnt want to eat but i have been getting her to drink water does anyone know whatkind of food i might be able to make into liquid form that i can feed her through the antibiotic siringe they gave me what would be the best thing to give her

You can get fruits or vegetables and blend it.It is good way to get fruit or vegetables into your bird.

You can get hand feeding formula to give her.  It is a powder mixed with water and fed with a syringe.  I get mine at Pet Smart

When our parakeet was feeling bad, my parents would put one or two drops of bourbon in his water.  That would usually dispel a cold and perk him up.
