Question:

The phone line into your house

I'm moving into a new studio recently, and I want to apply for broadband service. In my area, Virgin can't service only broadband, but needs a landline. Do I need to use BT to the first time the phone line into my house? Or I can ask Virgin to work it out? Because BT charges £125 and Virgin only charges £30...

Thank you for your help!!

  1. virgin will only supply broadband but only if the property has had a cable connection, look at the packages they both offer and 9/10 you can get free installation

  2. Virgin evidently haven't bothered building a network in your area, so you will have to have a line installed by BT. Once the line has been installed you can use any Service Provider for your broadband. Either pay the £125 or don't have a phone line.

  3. Check with your phone company, In a studio it should be able to handle any kind of system.  I don't think you are in the US...  Are you????

  4. Try a lesson in English before asking questions !

  5. OH yeah.. go with the Serial Killer c**p..I think some one should kill his mouth.

  6. WHAT?

  7. Speak with Virgin first.  I have a GREAT package from them and the Broadband if good, if I get any problems the helpline is FREE from a Virgin line. - No silly 09 number to ring at an arm and a leg and a mortgage on the dog.
