While there are other cities in Spain that does the public running of the bulls, the most famous is the one at Pamplona.

Anyone going ? If so, as a spectator or as a runner? If as a runner, would you like to say why?

  1. its dangerous man, think of how you could slip on all that bullshit

  2. I'm actually from Pamplona, and unfortunatelly I'm not going to the San Fermin festival this year, but it's great! It's a lot fun: music in the streets 24 hours a day, the "corrida", the "encierro", concerts, fireworks, crazy foreigners everywhere...

I have never run in the "encierro", it's too dangerous and you have to be well -prepared and trained to run, but I love watching it. It's very exciting.

If you're going this year, visit the website www.sanfermin.com

There you'll find some tips to run safely and how to have the greatest time there (restasurants, bars, activities....)!

  3. it is just another sport called extreme sports.  I don't run very fast so I wouldn't try it.
